This activity will walk you through how to determine your blood type using commercial serums. Questions help guide students through the identification of each of the different blood types. Students collect class data and compare that to the population at large.
Use this to learn and reinforce answers to questions such as:
❑ Why do we need to know a person's blood type when giving them blood?
❑ How many blood types are there?
❑ How do blood types differ?
Once students try this activity, they can capture their observations using the included Lab Notes or probing questions included in the instructions.
