Investigate moon phases and see how and when solar and lunar eclipses occur. It's helpful to make models with different vantage points to "see" the whole picture.
Make a model of a scale solar system. Did you know that the smallest scale model, where you can see Mercury without a magnifier, won't fit on a football field? You're going to have to take a hike! In this one the math is done for you and it's a simple print and go.
